Update documents: Use your smartphone to update your ID or passport details.
Receive confirmation: Get a digital confirmation and a new address sticker mailed to you.

Save Time: No need to visit the registration office
Eco-Friendly: Reduces paper use and conserves resources
Ready to Make it in Munich?

Another cool digital initiative, Make it in Munich, is here to help bridge the gap in our workforce. If you're a skilled worker or aspiring professional looking to make the move to our vibrant city, the new website, make-it-in-munich.com, is your go-to resource.
With around 29,000 vacancies currently listed at the Munich Employment Agency, there's plenty of opportunities waiting for you.
This project is designed to support third-country nationals (those outside the EU and EFTA) even before they pack their bags, by offering virtual qualification and pre-integration programs.
Hop on e-rickshaws and microbuses—for FREE
Munich is spicing up its transportation game. From Wednesday, July 24, you can hop on mini electric buses and rickshaws to zip around the historic old town.
You’ll find electric microbuses (with six seats), running every ten minutes between hotspots like Marienplatz, Frauenkirche and Sendlinger Tor. They’re in service from Wednesday through Saturday, from 8am to 10pm and the rides are free during the test run.
The e-rickshaws will service Stachus and Odeonsplatz between 7am and midnight to whisk you around the Altstadtring. Flag one down, book online or just hop on at one of the stands.
They’ve even got a special rickshaw for wheelchair users so this initiative isn’t just about mobility, it’s also about making the Altstadt more accessible for everyone.

Germany has a particular love for insurance and so, as an expat, it can be overwhelming trying to understand what insurance products you really need versus what's simply 'nice to have'.
With Feather's recommendation tool, you can get a quick assessment of which insurances are necessary, worth considering, and not relevant to you.

Art deals you’ll love
The art supermarket is back in Munich at Viktualienmarkt, running until the end of August. This isn’t your typical supermarket—no canned beans or toilet paper here–just walls lined with original works from up-and-coming artists as well as renowned ones.
With locations across Germany and even Switzerland, the Kunstsupermarkt offers original pieces at prices that won’t make your wallet weep—think €69, €129, €249 and €359.

1 new restaurant/café to try
La Favela
We found a Brazilian restaurant that's bringing the vibrant flavors of Rio right to Munich. Nestled inside a revamped U-Bahn car, surrounded by graffiti-covered containers, La Favela offers a dining atmosphere as unique as its food.
La Favela's menu is packed with Brazilian classics, from Picanha to Feijão Preto. The appetizers, popular in Brazil, are a taste sensation. If you've never been to Brazil or Munich’s funky Bahwärter Thiel neighborhood, you’re in for a double treat.
